Step inside the white tent and walk up to the gingham altar to see London’s newest musical showstopper. See if you’ve got what it takes to become star baker, and book The Great British Bake Off Musical tickets on TodayTix.
On your marks, get set, sing! Yes, the popular cooking competition show now bursts onto the West End stage. It’s a fluffy, heartfelt musical brimming with sweet songs and plenty of heart. London Theatre raved about the show, saying: “it’s part love letter, part gentle send-up, with a slice of romance and a soupçon of showbiz satire.”
Just like the show, the Bake Off musical follows a group of budding cooks all vying for the chance to be crowned Britain’s best amateur baker. You’re bound to see yourself in one of the contestants: there's carers, dinner ladies, students, policemen, and vegans, all coming together for the chance to take the title.
As the eight competitors work their way through the recipes, they candidly share personal and food-related journeys. Even though the bakers become friends, when it comes to signature bakes, they'll do anything it takes to earn a Hollywood handshake.

The nation’s favourite baking show is a musical hit. There are some slight differences to The Great British Bake Off Musical London performances to the real television series, notably the judges are now named Phil Holyhurst and Pam Lee, although they bear a strong likeness to Paul Hollywood and Prue Leith.
Plus the Bake Off characters often burst out into songs as they bake. Pippa Cleary and Jake Brunger's ecletic score mixes rap, pop, and 1990s ballads in one. Listen out for "I'd Never Be Me Without You", a heartfelt duet between judges Phil and Pam.
The Great British Bake Off Musical opened at Cheltenham's Everyman Theatre for two weeks in summer 2022. Television judge Prue Leith praised the show, saying: “it’s a theatrical sweet treat. Just what we need right now.”
